We have internal rules and guidelines we follow for security and performance. We monitor all of the servers activities so that we can place customers on the servers that would be most beneficial. Since each customer uses a different amount of disk space and a different amount of RAM we measure this activity to "balance" our servers. This keeps servers from getting overloaded with traffic. The benefit to this is less downtime per server. That is why we use dedicated MySQL servers. This seperates the MySQL traffic away from the web servers to enhance performance. We will not put too many customers on one server. It all just depends on the customers needs and what kind of stress that customer brings to the server. A business website would typically drive more traffic than a personal webpage and would cause more server "stress". This stress is determined by CPU usage, RAM, and network traffic.

We take extra security steps by updating the software we use regularly and using all types of software & hardware to protect our networks. We also monitor any suspicious customer activity and deal with security threats in a professional and timely manner. Some features of our hosting can only be activated by e-mailing us or calling us. We want to keep server abuse to a minimum. Any steps or attempts to compromise our networks or a customers account by an individual or another customer will result in legal action, banning, or account deactivation. We keep our customers information safe.
